Shay Mitchell

Shay Mitchell is a Canadian actress model and entrepreneur. The most famous role she has played is Emily Fields on the Freeform show Pretty Little Liars. An avid fan of Jennifer Lopez Mitchell came to be known for her role as Shay Lo among her friends. As a child she discovered a passion of performing arts. She discussed with her parents her dream of having the field of acting. In Toronto after having a great model and dance career, she decided to try acting a shot. After securing a few commercials as well as guest roles on the television show Mitchell got her big break when she was chosen as Emily Fields in Pretty Little Liars. Her performance was well-received by her acting skills and also by the audience. Her next step was to be a star on the big screen through films such as Dreamland, Mother's Day and The Possession of Hannah Grace. Her name gained more attention for her role as the protagonist in the psychological thriller You. In addition to acting, Shay Mitchell has also ventured into writing. She wrote an adult book titled Bliss along with Michaela Blaney.
